Dato’ Seri Raymond Liew is a regular writer of technical articles and a frequent speaker at various professional seminars, conferences and training programmes. He is a Trustee of the Malaysian Accountancy Research & Education Foundation and is also an adjudicator for the National Annual Corporate Report Awards for the past many years.

A qualified licensed Corporate Company Secretary, which licence is granted by the Companies Commissions of Malaysia. She completed her academic study with the University of Malaya and spent a number of years in the United Kingdom to expand her work horizon. With her practical experience and exposure in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) exercises of both listed and unlisted entities among other due diligence experiences, Dato’ Yul Shin provides technical advice to directors and shareholders pertaining to company compliance matters.

Dato’ Chew Wai Khoon

A chartered accountant, Dato’ Chew is a member of both the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM). He is currently representing a number of high level multi-national companies in various capacities and a well known political player within the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) where he was the State Assemblyman for many years. Mea Fatt Leong

A chartered accountant; formerly trained in one of the big four firms since 1982 for over 10 years before commencing his own practice and thereafter joined McMillan Woods as a partner. Mea plays an active role in the industrial and merchant bank and served as an independent director of a Hong Kong listed company between 1995 to 1998, and is an independent director of a SPV for ABS exercise.

Jay Julian
Kuala Lumpur – Partner of the firm

Rachel Hsu Xin

Rachel Hsu Xin has a notable background in beauty pageants and event management. She gained prominence by winning the title of Miss Chipao Malaysia 2019, which highlights her dedication as a leader, having served as an assistant head prefect during her school days. Her success continued as she earned the title of Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen of the Year in 2021, which further solidifying her reputation in the pageant industry.

In additional to her achievements in beauty pageants, Rachel Hsu Xin graduated with a degree in Mass Communication and has since taken on significant roles in event management by assuming the role of Organising Chairman of the annual McMillan Woods Global Awards since year 2022 until today, demonstrating her leadership and organisational skills in a professional setting.

Su Yin

Su Yin (SY) is a Chartered Accountant and a degree holder, majored in Accounting and Finance. She holds a professional degree with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom.

SY has over 9 years of working experience in specialised areas – Tax and Transfer Pricing with the Big-4 firms, exploring numerous Transfer Pricing projects to include numerous industries, the like of finance and banking; oil and gas; property development and construction, F&B and even Government-lined Companies (GLCs).

What is more challenging is the opportunity to advise corporate players in global multinationals and Government-linked Companies (GLCs) across many diverse industries. Armed with the necessary Transfer Pricing skillset, SY also serves to advise on corporate tax planning, investigative and forensic audit reviews and has since served as a critical support team leader in some selected corporate turnovers and related due diligence corporate exercises.

In brief, SY has a wide and in-depth exposure in Transfer Pricing exercises which, other than managing a wide range of complex Transfer Pricing engagements for global multinationals and GLC clients across various industries; SY also acts as a Liaison and a Tax Representative for major multinationals in complex Transfer Pricing audit and investigative cases; assisting to formulate, develop and implementing global Transfer Pricing policies and frameworks for large multinationals.

Cheryl Pang
Secretariat Office – Regional Business Manager

Cheryl Pang graduated with a Master Degree in International Business at Monash University, Australia together with a Bachelor Degree in Mass Communications, majoring in media studies at Murdoch University, Australia. She has extensive exposure and experiences in both the commercial and professional working environment, specialising in business development to include event management and the banking industry during the tenure when she was with one of the national banks in the country.

Her accomplishments to-date include successfully doubling the revenue turnover of a company within a short span of three months among other successful undertakings in organising and planning for events within short notices, one of which was her ability to independently organise a press conference and gala dinner to welcome the top leaders from the Chinese Government representatives and the United States of America.

Among other accolades, Cheryl was awarded the best Club Service Director of Rotary International. She is actively involved in the event management and regional business development of the global network – McMillan Woods.

Tan Pei Shan, Amy

Amy Tan graduated with a first class degree in Bachelor of Commerce & Accounting, with more than 3 years of working experience in assurance audit, taxation planning and various corporate task assignments. In brief, she is a top grade student with many “A”s in her examination results.

Her business skills include effective communication, presentation aptitude, people management, a team player and certainly, an astute leader always leading by example. She is actively involved in the event management, business development and business administrative duties of the global network – McMillan Woods.
